The National Football Museum Hall of Fame 2007 awards dinner took place on Thursday 15th November at Manchester United FC, Old Trafford Stadium in the Manchester Suite. With more than 550 guests attending, it was by far the biggest event to date.
With a guest list which read like a who’s who of football legends, the National Football Museum’s Hall of Fame dinner reinforced its reputation as one of the most prestigious and eagerly anticipated events in the English football calendar. The great players and mangers attending included: Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Tom Finney, Glenn Hoddle, Graeme Souness, Nobby Stiles, Mark Hughes, Colin Bell, Karen Walker, Niall Quinn, Stephen Daley, Howard Kendall, Alex Stepney, Steve Perryman, Keith Burkinshaw, Joe Corrigan, Martin Buchan, Dave Mackay, Debbie Bampton and Sue Lopez.
The event also included a tribute to Hall of Fame member Alan Ball, led by his son, Jimmy, and the other legendary members of the Everton midfield trio, Colin Harvey and Howard Kendall.
The evening was once again hosted by BBC presenters Ray Stubbs and Celina Hinchcliffe.
